I'm running for city council because I want to build a better St. Catharines.
I’m a mother, a not-for-profit program manager, and a community leader. I live in the Fitzgerald neighbourhood of St. Catharines with my husband James and our two kids. I've lived in Ward 4 for over half of my life and know our community very well.
I’ve worked from the outside to help people all my life. Running for office wasn't always in the plan. But it’s time to build a better St. Catharines that truly works for people. That’s why I’m running for City Council in Ward 4 – St. Patrick’s Ward.
After attending university in Nova Scotia, I started out in St. Catharines by waiting tables, then worked as an auditor and credit analyst, a project manager, and as a constituency assistant in government.
By working together, we can do so much more.
I want to build a St. Catharines that’s affordable for people. A city where people see real value for their tax dollars, where we can count on high quality public services, and where families, students and seniors don't have to choose between paying their utility bills and paying off their credit cards.
I want to build a St. Catharines that’s liveable. A city where people feel secure, an environmentally-sustainable city that our our children and grandchildren can proudly inherit. A city that embraces diversity, creativity, and a vibrant arts community.
I want to build a St. Catharines that’s accountable to everyday people. That’s why, unlike other candidates, I won’t accept campaign donations from big real estate developers or other powerful vested interests.
I’m proud to be running a grassroots campaign that is powered by people rather than big money.
A better St. Catharines is possible. But I need your vote. Stand with me!
